Family: Lyontiidae
A small family of moths, with only 9 species recorded in Great Britain. The Apple Leaf Minor is a very common species.
Family: Momphidae
A handful of species have been recorded in the garden so far. Most momphidae are associated with willowherbs as a larval food plant. We are hoping to see such plants establish in the wetland patch and perhaps record the larva of some of these species.
Family: Nepticulidae
Some of the smallest moths about and often difficult to tell apart. Ectoedemia decentella is a more frequently identified species and we feel rather awesome in a tiny way.
