As small crustaceans go we know very little about the class Hexanauplia, let alone the Orders Copepoda and Ostracoda shown below.
Order Copepoda. It is unclear as to what genus or even family this creature belongs or if further research will throw any light on the matter. Interesting microscopic crustaceans. Hoping to find more species as time passes. Order Ostracoda. As with the Copepoda, unclear if this creature can be identified down to family or beyond.
We have learnt that a Crustacean Larva are referred to as a Nauplius, and many look very similar despite the species in question. A typical Nauplius looks like the one below, found in the boggy garden area. Perhaps a Copepod Larva?
