Only a handful of species belonging to this Family are resident in Great Britain and only one of those, the most common, has been recorded in the Garden. The Nettle Tap Moth, as might be expected, has larva that feed on nettles, within silk on the upper surface of the leaf. With patches of nettles in the Garden this species could be resident.
