
The campodea are a genus of tiny white bristle-tailed arthropods, no longer considered insects and have been placed in the class Entognatha along with the springtails. They are very difficult to tell apart so for now we haven’t attempted to, although as we have only recorded one species so far that’s not a massive issue for us.
The injured specimen below may have been attacked by the centipede as shown retreating from the microscope light in this short clip.
